Arts Education Program Manager

The Youth Arts Academy Program Director role is an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team of music instructors and manage the daily operations of the Youth Arts Academy. As a key member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing arts programs that stimulate growth and creativity in youth ages 5-18.
About the Role
This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a manager/supervisory role and 2 years of working in a youth-services organization. A Bachelor's degree in music, business, or a related field is also required. Additionally, you must have a valid CA driver's license and be insurable. CPR and First Aid certification is also necessary.
Responsibilities
As the Youth Arts Academy Program Director, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing the daily operations of all YAA programs, including private lessons, rock and jazz bands, theatre, dance, and visual arts
* Developing, implementing, and evaluating program activities to ensure alignment with youth development goals and the mission of the organization
* Managing and coordinating events, services, performances, and summer/school break camps
* Leading and supervising a team of 5-10 music instructors, including hiring, training, and regular check-ins
* Developing and implementing new arts and music programs to expand offerings
* Using data analytics to monitor program participation, retention rates, and student progress, providing regular reports to leadership
