As a Creative Arts Instructor at Able ARTS Work, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. You will provide engaging education and/or vocational-based creative arts instruction, creating lesson plans that emphasize and build on service users' strengths and promote growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, along with high-level skills in music, art, drama, dance, or a related area. They will also have knowledge of individuals with developmental disabilities and technical skills in computer, tablet, and Microsoft Office. Travel may be required, approximately 20% of the time, to visit Able ARTS Work facilities in Hawthorne and Long Beach. The salary range for this position is $22-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include dental insurance, health insurance, vision insurance, paid personal time, paid sick time, paid holidays, and a 403(B) retirement plan.
