Executive Chef Job Description

The Executive Chef is a key member of the Food and Beverage team, responsible for leading the culinary direction of our hotel. This role requires a strong leader who can drive innovation, quality, and consistency in our food products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement culinary strategies to enhance the guest experience
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and labor to achieve profitability
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to develop menus, pricing, and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, menu innovations, and culinary techniques
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, farmers, and other industry partners
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Provide training and development opportunities for culinary staff
  • Participate in menu engineering, pricing, and promotions to drive revenue growth
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a full-service hotel
  • Proven track record of driving culinary innovation, quality, and consistency
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other culinary software
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
