Job Title: Chef de Cuisine

The Chef de Cuisine is a critical role within our culinary team, responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in our food offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and lead kitchen personnel to achieve high standards of quality and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food to meet the needs of our locations.
  • Select and develop recipes to ensure consistent quality and flavor profiles.
  • Establish presentation techniques and quality standards, and plan and price menus to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance, and maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction and/or demonstrations as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a related position.
  • Post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of food principles and practices.
  • Experiential knowledge of management and problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal, reading, and written communication skills.
