Job Opportunity

As a key member of Agilent's Chemistries and Supplies Product Specialist team, you will leverage your expertise in preparative HPLC and technical sales to drive growth of our prep LC column portfolio in key markets, including Pharmaceutical, CROs, and Life Science Research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance the adoption rate of Agilent's prep columns, resulting in revenue growth in the US & Canada.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales application consulting to preparative LC customers.
  • Coordinate and drive interactions with relevant business functions within Agilent.
  • Identify thought leaders and build strong relationships to generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and trends, communicating insights to Agilent stakeholders.
  • Assist in negotiating and closing strategic business opportunities, where applicable.
  • Provide VOC feedback to the business unit to inform product development and positioning.
  • Drive new product introduction to achieve ramp-to-volume goals.
  • Develop strong working relationships with CMS Account Managers to increase connect rates.
  • In collaboration with CSD Marketing Program Manager, develop and implement marketing plans to drive growth of our small molecule prep portfolio.
  • Stay current with competitive activities, including new product introductions, product positioning, and marketing/sales events, communicating as necessary with the product business unit and field sales organization.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field is required.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience, including practical laboratory experience with preparative LC systems, is required.
  • A strong understanding of LC separation principles, including scaling from analytical to preparative, is essential.
  • Prior life science sales and/or application experience is required.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to work independently are necessary.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule and up to 50% business travel in the US and Canada, including overnight, is required.
