We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Asset Manager to join our IT team at ProRec Resource Solutions, LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asset management processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the backup Asset Manager, ensuring seamless continuity in asset management operations.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment from procurement through end-of-life.
  • Provide daily operational and maintenance support, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues related to the Asset Management module in Remedy and ServiceNow.
  • Conduct annual inventory audits and establish processes for consistency and accuracy in asset tracking.
  • Perform bulk uploads of asset data and maintain data integrity within the asset management system.
  • Identify discrepancies and perform audits to ensure accuracy of asset data.
  • Develop and maintain foundation data related to assets, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  • Generate and provide asset reports for both end-users and management teams.
  • Manage user accounts, site information, hardware categorizations, product classifications, and support groups within the Asset Management system.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure new features or updates meet operational needs.
  • Oversee the management of fixed and floating licenses for the Asset Management Module.
  • Create end-user documentation and develop training materials.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate users on asset management processes and system functionalities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Minimum of 24 years' experience with BMC Remedy (version or an equivalent ITSM tool.
  • Strong working knowledge of Configuration Management Database (CMDB), asset management methodologies, tools, terminology, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening, verbal, and written abilities; proficient in meeting management and facilitation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities while delivering high-quality results.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with experience in interfacing with various IT professionals across multiple roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Prior experience developing and implementing asset management processes and procedures.
