Job Summary
As an Assistant Customer Service Manager at Schnucks Markets, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences and efficient store operations. This dynamic position requires a strong customer service focus, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service to customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Regularly attend work and maintain a high level of attendance, as this is an essential function of the job.
- Assist with duties of checkers and customer service personnel, ensuring seamless store operations.
- Supervise checkers and baggers to optimize the checkout process and improve customer satisfaction.
- Write schedules for baggers, checkers, U-scan, and service center staff to ensure proper coverage during business hours.
- Perform service center duties, including utility payments, lottery, cash drawer audits, and store safe management.
- Other duties may be assigned by store management.
Training and Development:
Training will be provided at the store level to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
Requirements:
- Internal candidates must have a minimum of six months of employment with Schnucks Markets, Inc.
- Store/Facility teammates must be in good standing and have manager approval for an interview.
Physical Demands:
This role requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, and stoop. You will also be working on your feet for extended periods (4-8 hours).
