Home Care Assistant

Village Caregiving in London, Kentucky is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized care to a client in Corbin, KY. This part-time, hourly home care position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
About the Role:- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Accompany clients to doctor's appointments and other outings
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and dishes
- Engage in conversation and activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical and healthcare practices
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
$15-$20 per hour based on experience and qualifications
