About the Role

At Hotchkiss Insurance, we're seeking a highly skilled Employee Benefits Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients and prospective clients in the middle market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage with prospects in the local business community through various sales methods
  • Maintain a target client list across various vertical market segments
  • Collaborate with other divisions to cross-sell and effectively service existing clients
  • Prepare and coordinate presentations for clients and potential clients, focusing on renewal and new business opportunities
  • Provide year-round consulting expertise to clients on topics such as long-term strategic planning, compliance, wellness, and cost containment strategies
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Account Managers for proactive client account management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Texas Life & Health license preferred
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of success
  • Business-to-Business prospecting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to deliver effective presentations to groups
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and modern technology
