Overview:

The Front Desk Clerk plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to guests at our hotel. This position is responsible for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere during guest check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout, while also optimizing room occupancy and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide attentive and courteous service to all guests.
  2. Handle guest inquiries regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  3. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and in a friendly manner.
  4. Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and reservations.
  5. Assist in the management of packages, mail, and messages for guests.
  6. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, including cash handling and credit policies.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in computer systems and customer service is essential.

Physical and General Requirements:

  1. Ability to stand for extended periods.
  2. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  3. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Commitment:

Regular attendance is crucial, and participation in required meetings and training sessions is expected. This role demands a proactive approach to guest service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality.
