Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Services Representative to join our team at Extended Stay America. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process reservations, registration, and departures in accordance with company procedures.
  • Handle cash, check, credit card, and city ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and takedown of breakfast services, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Sell the value of Extended Stay America to potential guests, converting inquiries into reservations and occupied rooms.
  • Collect relevant guest information, identify sales opportunities, and provide reasonable accommodations when possible.
  • Conduct periodic property tours to ensure compliance with brand standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English proficiently.
  • Must be able to operate the property management system technology.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to apply good judgment and deal with problems in a professional manner.
Work Environment

The Guest Services Representative will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests, associates, and outside vendors. The position requires the ability to remain stationary, navigate the hotel and parking lot, and detect objects and controls. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds may be required.
