About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at CNET. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable for designated company verticals, including Corporate Insurance, Tax, and Executive vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable for designated company verticals, including Corporate Insurance, Tax, and Executive vendors
- Submit Dividends and Equity reimbursements as designated by Payroll
- File and maintain annual 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC records, including audit of W9 forms
- Manage and maintain escheatment files by state and follow up with team to ensure due diligence and timely submission
- Oversight and coordination of weekly cash projections with the Treasury team
- Support the Treasury team in streamlining processes and driving efficiencies
- Oversight of positive pay verification and resolution of any issues identified
- Review and submit employee expense reimbursements
- Process Monthly Ghost Card expense allocation
- Support monthly close by reviewing outstanding cash with corporate accounting
- Perform special projects as requested (vendor audits, cash efficiency projects, etc.)
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in AP or similar role
- Proficiency utilizing financial systems and reporting packages, preferred experience with Workday
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player and receptive to feedback
