About College Possible
College Possible is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to coaching students from underprivileged backgrounds through their journey to and throughout college, aiming to disrupt the cycle of poverty and cultivate future leaders. Our innovative approach has garnered national acclaim, including the prestigious Evergreen National Education Award for our efforts in enhancing college access and success for low-income students. A Harvard study has shown that our program significantly increases the likelihood of students enrolling in four-year colleges, with our graduates being four times more likely to complete their degrees compared to their peers.
With a budget of $25 million, a workforce of over 140 full-time staff, and more than 270 AmeriCorps and VISTA service members, we aim to reach approximately 25,000 students across all 50 states through partnerships with over 90 high schools and 350 colleges.

Your Role as College Access Program Coordinator
The College Access Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing College Possible initiatives by managing, training, and supporting a team of AmeriCorps Service Members (coaches) who work directly with high school students at our partner institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Support: Provide daily guidance and oversight to AmeriCorps Members, ensuring excellence in service delivery and program execution. Address challenges as they arise, conduct performance evaluations, and collaborate with staff to maintain high service quality.
- High School Engagement: Cultivate and sustain effective relationships with assigned high schools, coordinating service delivery and maintaining communication with key stakeholders. Regularly meet with contacts to ensure program quality and successful partnerships.
- Program Quality Assurance: Oversee the implementation of the curriculum by coaches, ensuring adherence to our program model and achievement of key benchmarks. Utilize coaching methodologies to assist students in reaching critical milestones.
- Data Management and Reporting: Ensure accurate and up-to-date student data. Utilize progress data to inform coaching priorities and student engagement strategies. Assist in tracking and reporting student progress in collaboration with the Assistant Director of College Access.
- Project Leadership: Lead at least one site-wide initiative (e.g., test preparation, student recruitment) and manage all project aspects, including task tracking and data reporting.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience with AmeriCorps, VISTA, or similar service programs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience in data analysis and tracking.
- Minimum of one year of full-time work experience with increasing responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- Project management experience preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
