Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort medical claims that come into the mailroom daily.
  • Remove staples, rubber bands, repair torn documents, or copy document types and insert patch sheets to separate claims.
  • Check for issues and pull documents that need to be reprocessed.
  • Place claims into bins based on sorting rules and policies.
  • Create stack headers with claims and send them to quality for auditing.
  • Box completed stacks and place them in storage.
