About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Education Specialist - Academic Support. In this role, you will work one-on-one with students in grades K-12, providing personalized support to help them succeed academically.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing customized learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs and abilities. Your expertise in reading, writing, English, and literature will enable you to provide tailored instruction and support to students who require additional assistance.

We offer a comprehensive training program to ensure that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. Our curriculum is designed to promote academic success, and we provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career.

The Opportunity
  • Work with students in a one-to-one setting or small groups of up to four.
  • Focus on classroom skill development and ACT/SAT test preparation.
  • Paid training and professional development opportunities.
  • All curriculum and materials are provided, and tutoring takes place in the center.
  • Flexible, part-time hours.
  • A collaborative, fun, and rewarding work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required.
  • Expertise in reading, writing, English, and/or literature.
  • Certification/license and ACT/SAT experience a plus, but not required.
  • Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, based on experience, as well as benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
