Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Academic Program Support Specialist to join our team at Huntington Learning Center of Blaine. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional support to students, teachers, and parents, ensuring a seamless and successful learning experience.

About the Role

The Academic Program Support Specialist will play a critical part in the daily operations of our center, including managing front office duties, scheduling, and academic evaluations. They will also be involved in financial activities, marketing efforts, and observing teaching practices to provide feedback for improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Manage front office operations, including welcoming students, addressing parent inquiries, and handling phone calls, emails, and texts.
  • Create and maintain accurate student and teacher schedules.
  • Administer academic evaluations and interim testing, ensuring timely and effective results.
  • Perform financial tasks, such as managing payments, invoicing, and payroll tracking, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Meet with students to assess their progress and overall experience, providing constructive feedback for growth.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to help grow the center's presence and reputation.
  • Observe teaching practices and provide actionable feedback to improve instruction quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in administration, customer service, or education is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and adults, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and demands, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits that include health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for career growth and development.
