About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist Specialist to join our team for the upcoming school year.

Job Description:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students to determine eligibility for special education services, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals, focusing on enhancing student outcomes.
  • Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns, promoting their overall well-being and academic success.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving student performance and addressing areas of improvement.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make recommendations for services and interventions.
  • Crisis intervention and support during emergencies, prioritizing student safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program, demonstrating expertise in assessment, counseling, and intervention.
  • Valid Minnesota state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting, preferably with strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education, ensuring adherence to best practices.
