We are looking for a dedicated Full-time Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to work within an educational setting.

COMPENSATION & TERMS

* 10-month academic calendar with designated professional development days
* Work schedule aligns with student hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) play a crucial role in executing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or behavior specialist. Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing ABA techniques to foster academic, communication, and social skills.
  • Utilizing interventions to promote positive behavior changes and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Supporting crisis management and training initiatives as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Must possess RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
* Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in ABA instruction
* Ongoing maintenance of RBT certification at personal expense, including:
  • Completion of Competency Assessment
  • Submission of Renewal Application
  • Payment of Annual Fee

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct support to students in both individual and group settings, focusing on enhancing independence in various skills.
- Assist BCBAs with assessments and behavior support plans.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding ABA principles and educational strategies.
- Collaborate with educational staff to modify interventions as necessary.
- Collect and analyze data on student progress and behaviors.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
