About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at the Justice Resource Institute. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional residential services for adolescents with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Develop and implement tailored training programs for staff, ensuring each student's unique needs are met.
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify and address challenging behaviors.
  • Document observations and progress, utilizing data-driven insights to inform treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents, caregivers, and staff, to implement behavior plans and promote positive outcomes.
  • Design and implement behavior management plans, incorporating principles of positive behavior support (PBS) and applied behavioral analysis (ABA).
  • Evaluate progress, making adjustments to plans as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Model and teach strategies to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the administrative team to ensure seamless implementation of behavior management plans and risk management/safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Master's degree required.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Afternoon into early evening availability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
