About the Role
We are seeking a Practical Nursing Specialist to manage Medical Services at our facility. This role involves implementing medical directives, monitoring medication and vital signs, and maintaining accurate medical records. The specialist will observe patients, document their treatment progress, and collaborate with Case Managers to ensure effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct Nursing Assessments and required evaluations upon patient admission.
2. Perform medical clearance exams and manage medication monitoring with thorough documentation.
3. Collaborate with the clinical team during meetings to provide medical insights.
4. Work closely with the Medical Director for medication reconciliation and ensure compliance with medical orders.
5. Maintain electronic health records, including progress notes and assessments.
6. Educate clients on their medical conditions and medication usage, ensuring they understand their treatment plans.
7. Alert medical staff of any changes in patient conditions and coordinate with counselors for effective medication management.

Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience and 1 year in medication monitoring.
- Proficient in EHR systems with a strong understanding of confidentiality regulations.
- Knowledge of best practices in addiction medicine and medication-assisted treatment.

Physical & Mental Requirements
This position requires the ability to walk, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities include distance vision and depth perception.

Schedule
Part-Time: Weekend Overnight Shift.
