Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Vic's On The River. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Restaurant Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Cash Handling and Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and timely handling of cash and credit transactions, as well as effective inventory management to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and develop our restaurant staff, providing training and coaching to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that our restaurant adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Source and purchase high-quality ingredients, kitchen equipment, and supplies, ensuring that our restaurant maintains its high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Financial Management: Manage our restaurant's finances, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably with a focus on operations management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff; excellent customer service skills; intermediate accounting and arithmetic skills; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
