POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee and direct both small and large-scale internal initiatives across various business sectors, including technology deployment projects. Accountable for all phases of a project’s lifecycle and expected to collaborate with personnel at all organizational levels to meet business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  1. Lead and deliver projects on a daily basis.
  2. Adapt to Agile or Waterfall methodologies as required by the project.
  3. Engage with cross-functional teams and resources to execute projects and ensure objectives are achieved.
  4. Maintain clear and well-communicated project plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Collaborate with the Product Owner or Project Sponsor to guarantee the delivery of high-value features within the defined schedule and budget.
  6. Actively assist the team in resolving challenges and escalate issues as necessary.
  7. Manage project timelines and workflows, consistently prioritizing tasks.
  8. Facilitate productive and efficient team meetings.
  9. Proactively escalate and inform relevant parties of any budget, timeline, deliverable, quality, or personnel concerns as soon as they arise and support collaborative problem-solving.
  10. Prepare project status updates and conduct regular meetings to inform project steering teams of progress, risks, and challenges.
  11. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in project management.

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to demonstrate sound judgment.
  2. Proficient in budget management and tracking.
  3. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple assignments.
  4. Comfortable with both strategic analysis and detailed task management.
  5. Demonstrated proficiency with technology and eagerness to learn new software tools.
  6. Experienced in managing large software implementations and complex projects.
  7. Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence.
  8. Excellent skills in estimating, scheduling, and budgeting with a focus on minimizing risks.
  9. Exceptional communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  10. Ability to motivate teams towards high-quality performance.
  11. Positive attitude, energy, and ability to maintain composure and humor under pressure.
  12. Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, draft project specifications, and communicate needs.
  13. A comprehensive understanding of all phases of the project lifecycle.
  14. Ability to take initiative, organize diverse tasks, work independently, and align with corporate strategy.
  15. Capacity to effectively lead and engage in cross-functional teams.
