Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our team at Syneos Health/inVentiv Health Commercial LLC. As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing a strategic business plan for a geographical area, building relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, and attaining or exceeding assigned sales and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute a Strategic Business Plan: Create and implement a comprehensive business plan to effectively target, penetrate, and establish a network of relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders in a designated geographical area.
  • Build Relationships with Key Decision Makers: Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals across multiple medical subspecialties.
  • Manage Hybrid Relationships: Effectively manage relationships through a mix of in-person and virtual engagement, including calls, meetings, and presentations.
  • Call on Retail Pharmacies: Develop and maintain relationships with retail pharmacies, including chain and independent pharmacies.
  • Attain Sales and Profit Goals: Meet or exceed assigned sales and profit goals through effective sales strategies and relationship-building.
  • Manage Territory-Specific Information: Utilize a CRM system to manage and track territory-specific information, including sales data, customer interactions, and market trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or life sciences.
  • Pharmaceutical or Healthcare Industry Sales Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry sales, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Business Acumen and Clinical Knowledge: Demonstrated business acumen and comprehension of clinical information, with the ability to articulate a clinical sales message to healthcare providers.
  • CRM Tool Experience: Proficient in using a CRM tool, such as Veeva.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
