BRAND ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST | JOB OVERVIEW

SUMMARY

At Magnolia Personnel Group, the Brand Engagement Specialist is tasked with overseeing the management of our social media platforms. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of various social media channels, current trends, and performance metrics, along with a proven track record in developing creative social media content, campaigns, and strategic initiatives. This position is based at our headquarters and reports to the Senior Marketing Manager for Digital Media, with responsibilities for leading a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily operations of social media channels, including content development, copywriting, community interaction, and daily publishing schedules.
  • Design, produce, and oversee social media content while ensuring a smooth approval workflow.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of all approved content across social media platforms.
  • Propose innovative and engaging content ideas that foster connections with our audience and drive interaction.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of social media initiatives across all platforms.
  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Engage with online communities, managing guest interactions and feedback.
  • Develop content that aligns with the overarching brand strategy across various media channels.
  • Maintain a comprehensive social media calendar, detailing content creation and posting timelines.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress and ensure timely completion of all projects.
  • Establish and implement a detailed plan to build a diverse library of social media content, including images and videos.
  • Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to maintain consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive storytelling through content planning and production.
  • Provide quarterly performance reports on social media accounts.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

  • Strategic Planning: Approach change with a positive mindset, breaking down team objectives into actionable steps and metrics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a comprehensive understanding of social media platforms and content creation is essential. Experience with social media analytics and reporting is required; familiarity with Premiere Pro is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of management experience or 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing accounts across diverse social media platforms is required.
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant work is required.
  • Availability to work during events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and arms for reaching and handling, and communicate effectively. The employee may frequently stand, walk, climb, or balance, and may need to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employees may occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, and the noise level in the workplace is typically moderate.
