Position Overview
  • The Business Development Specialist plays a crucial role in promoting our services to small businesses and residential clients, enhancing brand visibility, and finalizing sales. The primary objective is to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proven ability to develop a lead list from the ground up, target prospects through sales and marketing initiatives, and successfully convert them into customers.
  • Passionate about establishing relationships with small businesses, informing them about NerdsToGo services, and securing small business service agreements.
  • Manages lead databases, including data entry and progressing leads through the NerdsToGo Sales Process.
  • Engages in sales and guerrilla marketing efforts throughout the local area.
  • Organizes daily routes and completes Sales Tracking Sheets.
  • Regularly follows up with leads and existing small business clients.
  • Participates in business networking events and community meetings to enhance brand recognition and introduce NerdsToGo services.
  • Exhibits strong presentation skills, high energy, exceptional prospecting abilities, a history of achieving sales targets, strategic sales planning, and solution-oriented selling.
  • Demonstrates a solid track record of closing sales and converting leads into customers.
Qualifications
  • Outstanding communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Exceptional sales and marketing capabilities.
  • Enthusiastic about enhancing NerdsToGo brand presence in the local market.
  • Able to create a lead list from scratch and nurture potential clients.
  • Comfortable conducting guerrilla marketing initiatives to generate leads in the primary marketing area.
