Application Coordinator

The Application Coordination role serves as the lead implementation specialist and support contact for assigned applications. As the IMT liaison between users and vendors, this position assists user departments in analysis and design of system requirements. Key responsibilities include performing system building setup and testing, analyzing and managing change requests, coordinating upgrades, and providing end-user support and assistance. Additionally, this role recommends methods for using the system/data to improve performance, develops, modifies, tests, and maintains screens, menus, pathways, documents, reports, and program logic modules. Providing off-hours support for critical problem resolution and assisting the training team as necessary are also key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform system building setup and testing
Analyze and manage change requests
Coordinate upgrades
Provide end-user support and assistance
Recommend methods for using the system/data to improve performance

Provide off-hours support for critical problem resolution

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant professional work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be self-directed with strong interpersonal, communication, analytic, and computer skills. Knowledge and/or use of Health Information Systems in a hospital setting, especially the Epic suite of products, is preferred. Experience working in a healthcare setting is also beneficial. Epic RTE Certification, Epic Cadence, Prelude, and SER are preferred qualifications.
Work Environment:
Monday-Friday, 8 am-5:00 pm, with flexibility to work as needed.
