Structured Financial Products Sales Specialist

Mesirow Financial is a distinguished, employee-owned firm that excels in investment strategies, risk management, and advisory services. We are on the lookout for a seasoned sales professional in structured financial products to enhance our sales and distribution efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a robust history of success in selling structured financial solutions and maintain strong industry connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales and distribution of structured financial products through diverse business channels.
  • Identify and cultivate new client relationships within the structured products sector.
  • Tailor financial structures to align with client objectives.
  • Manage sales of both new issues and existing inventory positions.
  • Collaborate effectively with Mesirow Financial's Wealth Advisors.
  • Provide education to targeted advisors regarding structured financial products.
  • Deliver outstanding sales service and demonstrate willingness to travel as needed.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the sales of structured financial products.
  • Bachelor's Degree along with FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.
  • A well-established network of accounts and industry relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in structured financial products and fixed income sales.
  • Demonstrated success in surpassing revenue goals.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, Salesforce, and other CRM platforms.
  • Self-driven and capable of thriving in a dynamic work environment.
