Position Overview
The Lead Financial Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role within our Finance Division, focusing on external financial reporting and performance evaluation. Key responsibilities include:

* Compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

* Conducting thorough reviews of complex accounting regulations and applying these principles to multifaceted transactions.

* Preparing detailed analyses for executive management, aiding in the communication of financial trends and issues.

* Engaging in sophisticated accounting research and providing recommendations for critical financial decisions.

* Overseeing the monthly financial closing process and implementing necessary internal controls.

* Providing ongoing financial support to various departments, preparing routine reports and conducting ad-hoc analyses as required.

2. **Analysis**: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, preparing documents that communicate business trends to management and external auditors. Identify and rectify significant accounting errors, ensuring accuracy in reporting.

3. **Research**: Develop well-documented accounting research papers that recommend essential financial decisions. Stay informed on emerging accounting regulations and assess their impact on the organization.

4. **Control**: Assist in the management of the financial closing process and collaborate with IT to ensure system requirements are met.

5. **External Audit**: Support the external audit process by coordinating activities and ensuring timely provision of necessary documentation.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in executing strategic financial analyses and understanding database structures.
  • Knowledge of journal entries, financial reporting, and general accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently with precision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven research and presentation skills, with the ability to gain consensus.
