About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead AMO Support Engineer to join our team at Baker Hughes Company. As a key member of our Oilfield Services & Equipment Team, you will play a critical role in delivering complex and innovative projects that make a real impact.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Assembly, Maintenance, and Overhaul (AMO) services, with a focus on Pressure Pumping equipment. You will be responsible for managing the full equipment lifecycle, including high-pressure iron, and will work closely with internal and external customers to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities related to the supervision, organization, and execution of a service project, including scope, time, contract, cost, and quality management.
  • Manage project methodologies and standards, including scheduling and control, to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Present project plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams.
  • Handle standardized project processes ensuring any updated processes are implemented in the department.
  • Handle diverse clients in a region and work based on predefined contracts and frameworks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in AMO Services).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Assembly, Repair, Maintenance & Overhaul.
  • 5 years' experience with Pressure Pumping equipment, preferably in Production Enhancement, Cementing, Coil Tubing, and offshore Stimulation Vessels.
  • 2 years' experience generating and preparing financial and equipment readiness reports for upper management.
  • Extensive experience leading a client-based project.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong mechanical engineering design.
  • Familiar with Finite Element Analysis.
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability.
