Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance to join our team at Acuren Inspection, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing financial plans and policies, ensuring accurate forecasting of business activity, and providing oversight to the accounting and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Control: Direct regional controllers and other direct reports to ensure the appropriate handling of all financial ledgers for the company, financial reporting, capital budgeting, and expenditures.
  • Financial Leadership: Work closely with regional controllers to develop and implement business plans, identify and communicate deficiencies related to internal control processes, and ensure the effective completion of month-end close activities.
  • Risk Management: Establish processes to identify, evaluate, and manage risks that impact the business, including ensuring national compliance with standard accounting practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to provide timely and accurate support to the regional team, hire, retain, and manage the performance of direct reports, and provide ongoing training to support staff growth and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, with an MBA preferred.
  • At least 7-12 years of accounting and financial control experience in an industrial, engineering, heavy construction, or manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 8 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and adjust priorities as required.
  • Proficiency in various software applications and statistical analysis tools and concepts.
