Head Chef

Anthony's Beach Cafe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional seafood and Northwest cuisine to our guests.

Job Summary

We are looking for a culinary professional with a passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service. If you have a strong background in kitchen management and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operations and management of the kitchen, ensuring that food meets high-quality standards and sales and profit goals are met.
  • Develop and implement menus, train Sous Chefs, and oversee the kitchen staff to ensure consistent and excellent production.
  • Order and manage inventory, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen team members, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure they are performing at their best.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five or more years of experience in a high-volume, full-service dining kitchen, preferably in a seafood restaurant.
  • Three or more years of experience in kitchen management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and food production skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and speak clearly and listen attentively to kitchen team members and managers.
  • Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for up to four hours and lift pots, pans, and other containers weighing up to 50 pounds.
