Job Overview

At MOST/DFW, we are seeking a passionate Speech Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team of Occupational, Physical, and ABA therapists for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We strive to provide personalized care and support to our patients and their families. Our Speech Therapy Assistant will play a vital role in helping us achieve this goal by providing high-quality speech therapy services in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Speech Therapy Services: Deliver evidence-based speech therapy programs to children aged 3-12 years old in a clinic setting or at partnering ABA locations.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with co-treating therapists to develop innovative therapy plans and techniques that cater to each child's unique needs.
  • Track Progress: Accurately record and track client progress, including mastery of goals, attitudes, and behaviors, while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Communicate Effectively: Educate families on strategies to enhance generalization of skills and carryover, promoting successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • SLPA License: Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Texas.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in speech therapy, preferably with pediatrics, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and/or Sensory Processing Disorder.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a willingness to work with a dynamic team of allied health professionals.
  • Availability: Commitment to a minimum of 20 working hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate various schedules.
  • Certifications: BLS/CPR certification required, with willingness to undergo a background check.
