We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a vital part of our school-based therapy program, you will play a crucial role in supporting the speech and language development of students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver speech therapy services in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans created by the supervising SLP.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure comprehensive support for students' needs.
  • Monitor and document student progress and performance to inform therapy adjustments.
  • Assist in preparing materials and activities for effective therapy sessions.
  • Maintain open communication with the supervising SLP to ensure seamless collaboration and adaptability in therapy plans.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or a related field.
  • A valid Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adjust to changing demands in a dynamic school environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
