About the Role
We are looking to expand our roster of qualified Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation (AM&E) Analysts. These professionals will assist in the design, coordination, execution, and reporting of Security Cooperation analyses. They will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that our initiatives remain aligned with the latest AM&E methodologies, tools, and strategies in specific subject areas. This position is available for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist leadership in identifying priorities and developing solutions to challenges.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of security cooperation initiatives.
- Help formulate indicators and metrics for evaluating security cooperation programs.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for senior leadership review.
- Contribute to the design and creation of visual graphics (e.g., illustrations, layouts, designs) that clearly convey essential information.
- Support the development and upkeep of project processes and plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of three (3) years of AM&E experience, including the ability to analyze and summarize diverse information succinctly, draft data collection methodologies, create organizational work plans aligned with overarching goals, coordinate multiple offices through complex processes without direct supervision, and assist staff with varying levels of expertise.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with mid and high-level partners, government representatives, and local communities.
- Capability to apply government agency regulations and procedures related to controlled unclassified information and foreign disclosure in daily tasks.
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and database management.
- Six (6) years of AM&E or capability-based assessment (CBA) experience in areas such as counterterrorism, counter-weapons of mass destruction, counter-narcotics, counter-transnational organized crime, maritime and border security, military intelligence, and operations contributing to international coalition efforts deemed in the national interest of the United States.
- Possession of a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience and knowledge in public policy and operations.
- Five (5) years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing assessment, monitoring, and evaluation programs or projects in the security sector for national organizations, NGOs/IGOs, the UN, or private industry.
- Master's degree (or higher) with formal training or education in assessment, monitoring, and evaluation.
- One to three (1-3) years of experience in planning, executing, or overseeing policy guidance for Security Cooperation activities.
