About the Role

At Goodwin, we are seeking an experienced E-Billing Rates Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Operations Team, you will play a critical role in overseeing client rate setup and submissions within e-billing portals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Rate Management: Collaborate with the Pricing Team to ensure proper rate sets are applied to client matters, handle annual rate increase submissions, and manage e-billing information in the firm's time and billing system.
  • E-Billing Operations: Monitor e-billing daily, provide guidance to billers, maintain compliance with client-specific requirements, and generate financial reports related to e-billing.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve issues that arise during the invoice submission process and respond promptly and accurately to client inquiries related to e-billing and payments.
  • Database Management: Maintain an internal database of e-billed clients and their compliance requirements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual e-billing-related financial reports and provide regular updates regarding e-billing statuses to attorneys, management, and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 6-8 years of legal billing/e-billing experience in a law firm, with previous experience with Aderant & Billblast preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in utilizing various vendor websites and the BillBlast system for electronic billing, self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and reliable, with the ability to multitask effectively both independently and within a team.
