Position Overview:
The Customer Service Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently managing payments, transfers, stop payments, and addressing product and account inquiries.
This role involves assisting customers with various digital banking services, including Online Banking, Text Message Banking, and mobile applications. Responsibilities include handling both incoming and outgoing communications through phone calls, web chats, and emails.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional approach.
- Process financial transactions and inquiries accurately and promptly.
- Assist customers in navigating Online Banking, including account access and transaction completion.
- Support users in downloading and utilizing mobile applications and services.
- Facilitate customer sign-ups for Text Message Banking and troubleshoot any issues.
Maintain open communication with management regarding customer challenges to enhance service delivery and conversion rates. Collaborate with branch staff to address online channel inquiries and participate in testing new online features.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, ideally in online support.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to assess customer needs and respond effectively.
- Proficient in technology, including computers and mobile applications.
Work Schedule:
This position requires flexibility with a rotating schedule, including some evenings and weekends. The department operates during specified hours throughout the week.
