Job Title: Residential Services Associate
Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
About the Company: Monadnock Property Management is a well-established company that provides property management, maintenance, and repair services. We are seeking a highly motivated Residential Services Associate to join our team.
About the Role:
The Residential Services Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to residents and maintaining the property's interior and exterior in immaculate condition. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning common areas, checking lighting, and ensuring site gates and fences are secure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely manner;
- Distribute resident communications, including notices, meeting invitations, and pest control notices;
- Assist residents with service requests, including fixing leaky faucets, unclogging drains, and replacing light bulbs;
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including tightening loose screws, changing air filters, and replacing smoke detector batteries;
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any potential issues or hazards;
- Recommend ways to improve the property's appearance and functionality;
- Collaborate with the Super and Property Manager to develop and implement strategies to enhance resident satisfaction and retention;
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk the site and undertake strenuous activities like carrying furniture, removing trash, and carrying supplies;
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel to perform routine maintenance and repairs;
- Must be able to be on your feet for multiple hours in a day, to climb stairs and ladders, work with your hands;
- Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, hand trucks, ladders, snow blowers, and power washers;
- Must be able to observe areas needing attention and to read labels and respond in writing to instructions from supervisor;
- Must be able to verbally communicate with staff and residents.
Working Environment:
- Will work outdoors for 60% or more of the time;
- Occasional exposure to paint fumes, solvents, cleaning products, adhesives.
Qualifications:
- A high school degree or GED is preferred;
- Must possess the ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and/or written instructions;
- Must be able to effectively communicate with other staff and residents;
- Must be able to work within multiple deadlines and complete tasks;
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience working as a porter or equivalent position.
