We are seeking a highly skilled Multifamily Asset Development Associate to join our Housing team in NYC. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Brookfield Properties' multifamily portfolio.

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced team to maximize asset value through leasing, redevelopment, and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of business plans, collaborating with various teams, and providing valuable insights to inform investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the oversight of strategic business plan execution for BPG's multifamily investments in the US.
  • Ongoing and ad-hoc financial analysis to support value-maximizing capital decisions across the multifamily portfolio.
  • Liaise with real estate management and operating teams to monitor investments and ensure strategic goals are being met.
  • Create, maintain, and improve highly functional and detailed investment models and valuation models.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, real estate, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, real estate investing, or private equity.
  • Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $150,000 and $170,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Our compensation structure includes a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). We strive to provide market-competitive compensation packages to attract and retain top talent.
