Senior Wine and Spirits Chain Strategist

We maintain an extensive network of distributors across the US, with direct distribution operations in 10 states: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, DC/Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Wine and Spirits Chain Strategist to drive national chain management and business growth across the US.
The ideal candidate will call on key accounts on a corporate level for our national portfolio, fostering strong relationships with buyers, internal sales teams, and key distributors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute distribution strategies to achieve sales goals for national chains.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers for effective chain programming.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and develop targeted account plans.
- Prioritize efforts to align with company objectives, driving business growth and expansion.
- Analyze performance within accounts to optimize distribution strategies.
- Monitor competitive activities and capitalize on opportunities to stay ahead in the market.
- IDentify potential issues to mitigate risks such as out-of-stocks and non-scanning issues.
- Oversee price changes for chain accounts monthly.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management position, preferably in the wine industry.
- Proven track record of working with key chain partners and national accounts.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of wine industry products and logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
