Wine Industry Portfolio Strategist

Palm Bay International, a leading family-owned company, offers an extensive portfolio of imported wines and spirits from over 50 global suppliers. With a remarkable network of partnerships with top wholesale companies across the US, Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America, the Company caters to every level of the industry, from independent restaurants and retail stores to chain accounts, supermarkets, hotels, airlines, cruise ships, and duty-free accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business planning (pricing, budgeting, forecasting) and day-to-day management (purchasing, tactics, relationship management) of assigned portfolios of brands.
- Establish strong relationships with PBI sales force & distributor network.
- Collaborate with the sales & marketing team to develop tactics and activities for each brand assigned across the portfolio.
- Create efficiencies in promotional and operational expenditure, resulting in superior sales, profits, and cost performance.
- Develop plans to launch new products and portfolios with launch programming, tactics, & tools.
- Partner with marketing & public relations to develop, execute, and monitor effective brand programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (finance, marketing, or related field).
- 5-7 years of experience in the CPG/Wine industry.
- Working knowledge of the wine industry, import function, three-tiered system, and regulated nature of the industry.
Benefits:
- $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
