Job Summary:

A Medical Management Specialist is sought by Absolute Staffing & Consulting Solutions to provide non-clinical support to the Medical Management and/or Operations areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of managed care or Medicaid/Medicare and be able to gather clinical information regarding cases and determine appropriate areas to refer or assign cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather clinical information regarding cases and determine appropriate areas to refer or assign cases
Provide information regarding network providers or general program information when requested
Act as liaison between Medical Management and/or Operations and internal departments
Maintain and update tracking databases
Prepare reports and documents all actions

Requirements:

High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year experience or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Understanding of managed care or Medicaid/Medicare strongly preferred
