Job Summary

The Systems Coordinator is responsible for managing internal and external systems access for employees and partners within our NJSN service area. This role coordinates all functions of staff access needs, including new staff, terminations, LOAs, and access extensions. The Systems Coordinator ensures EMR access allows employees to see all necessary information to assess donor suitability and complete the donation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently consults with hospital contacts to ensure coordination of account generation process for NJSN employees and partners.
  • Initiates improvement opportunities and manages an organizational plan with partners for direct access to electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Serves as a liaison between hospitals and staff to address concerns and communicates access needs in real-time.
  • Updates and maintains current staff records of access, instituting reminder processes for staff to update passwords.
  • Utilizes contact systems to manage, track, and facilitate access requests, terminations, and extensions.
  • Identifies and proactively communicates with staff regarding access needs and/or issues on a regular basis.
  • Manages access for Donor Registry systems and partner portals, establishing methodology and overseeing new account requests and terminations.
  • Manages onboarding and offboarding functions of MasterControl System access, including managing staff in the system, initiating courses, and developing and conducting staff training.
  • Troubleshoots to provide real-time response when issues arise with systems accessibility, including nights and weekends.
  • Manages access needs to TrueNorth Electronic Donor Record (EDR) and UNet & DonorNet access needs for necessary staff and partners.
  • Participates in regulatory surveys to provide access to policies, documents, and reports as requested.
  • Partners with Clinical Leadership to impact a culture of accountability and maintain needed access.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related subject or Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of two years of related experience required.
  • Knowledge of hospital protocol preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of software applications, including Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Reader Professional preferred.
