Job Title: Development Coordinator

At Brown University, we are seeking a highly skilled Development Coordinator to join our Biomedical Advancement team. This role will provide primary management of advancement data to support the departmental needs and fundraising efforts of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage advancement data in Workday and Phenix to inform the Brown Medical Annual Fund strategy
  • Oversee student and recent medical graduate engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and volunteer management efforts
  • Provide advanced support for the Director of Development and the Medical School annual giving program
  • Implement various programs, fundraising efforts, and events to engage the medical community and build the pipeline for annual giving
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in development, sales, customer relations, and administrative roles
  • Experience in a higher-education, fundraising, or non-profit setting is highly desirable
Competencies:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Comfortable with various data management systems and computer savvy
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external constituents of the Medical School and the University
