Position Overview:
The Principal Software Engineer role is designed for individuals who possess a strong passion for gaming and data analytics. This position involves collaborating with a diverse and global team of engineers dedicated to creating exceptional features for a vast audience of gamers.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will tackle intricate and demanding challenges, generate innovative ideas and solutions, and leverage your extensive experience in the gaming industry along with your big data and analytics expertise to enhance a consumer-oriented application. You will be expected to think like a data and analytics specialist while executing your engineering tasks.

Leadership and Mentorship:
Your role will also encompass providing guidance and leadership to various teams and projects within Hewlett-Packard. You will play a pivotal role in refining team processes and policies, working autonomously, and utilizing your knowledge to improve feature delivery and long-term engineering strategies. Additionally, you will mentor and coach fellow team members.

Essential Skills and Expertise:
- Profound understanding of complex software systems, particularly in the consumer and gaming sectors.
- Extensive experience in software development, systems engineering, or general software engineering.
- Proficiency in Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering, especially with large and complex datasets.
- In-depth experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, Python, R, and/or C++.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Architectural Design:
Experience in designing and developing software applications, including tools and languages, is crucial. You will be responsible for evaluating and selecting methodologies for software application testing, including the creation and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts.

Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required, with mastery in English and the local language. You should be capable of effectively conveying product architectures, design proposals, and negotiating options at both the business unit and executive levels.

Scope and Impact:
This role involves partnering with product and engineering teams to define business requirements, product design, deployment, and adoption strategies. You will act as a subject matter expert, advising various internal, partner, and customer teams on the needs and requirements of target markets.

Complexity:
This position entails a high level of complexity, involving extensive cross-functional and cross-organizational interactions, addressing intricate strategic issues. You will be recognized as an authority on relevant subject matter, contributing to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or demonstrated competence.
- Over 10 years of experience in big data (Data Science, Data Engineering, AI).
- More than 10 years of experience in Windows Application development and cloud backend services.
