Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize independent judgment and expertise in the design, development, and enhancement of gaming software applications, employing core computer science principles; develop reusable libraries that enhance the productivity and efficiency of software development teams.
  • Independently write and implement robust software applications.
  • Engage in the validation of code through comprehensive code reviews and automated testing methodologies.
  • Thoroughly document all aspects of the developed code, including instructions for building and utilizing the software.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific discipline is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in the design, development, and modification of software applications using C++.
  • 8+ years of practical knowledge of software development methodologies, including software development life cycle (SDLC), agile practices, and feature-driven development.
  • Proven understanding of design patterns.
  • Advanced proficiency with source/revision control systems, such as Perforce.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or other languages adhering to ECMA specifications.

The compensation for this position is determined by various factors, including skills, experience, and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $128,600 - $152,100 annually.
