Contract Administrator

Job Summary: Clayton Services is seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team in Houston. As a Contract Administrator, you will play a crucial role in administering and routing contract documents during the construction phase of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Administration: Manage and distribute contract documents, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Correspondence: Prepare and sign routine, non-technical correspondence on behalf of the Construction Manager or yourself.
- Project Support: Assist the Construction Manager throughout the project bid and construction phases, providing administrative support as needed.
- Meetings and Conferences: Arrange conferences and meetings, assembling required background materials as directed.
- Office Procedures: Independently handle recurring office procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Communication: Schedule meetings and communicate effectively with all departments in the office, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Information Management: Collect information for routine inquiries or periodic reports, maintaining confidentiality when necessary.
- Request Handling: Refer non-routine requests to the Construction Manager, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the construction industry is required.
- Education: A bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent collaboration skills, excellent time management skills, excellent attention to detail and organization skills, ability to keep information confidential, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, knowledge of Newforma software is a plus.
