Position Overview:

The Procurement Manager will play a critical role in managing and overseeing all aspects of contract negotiation, administration, and compliance for our mega projects. This individual will work closely with our project teams and large Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors to ensure that all contractual obligations are met, risks are managed, and project objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with large EPC contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks associated with contracts. Provide guidance on potential risks and implement strategies to minimize exposure.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align contract terms with project goals and deliverables.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled in a timely manner. Monitor and enforce contract compliance and resolve any disputes or issues that may arise.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, amendments, and related correspondence. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in contract management and contribute to the development of best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in contract management, with a strong background in managing contracts for mega projects and working with large EPC contractors.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of contract law, negotiation techniques, and industry best practices. Experience with contract management software is desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex contractual issues to various stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions based on data and business needs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
