Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead our newly constructed manufacturing facility in The Village of West Jefferson, OH. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for directing all reliability and maintenance activities, utilities operation, and execution of capital plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct all reliability and maintenance activities to ensure peak plant efficiencies and minimize downtime.
  • Partner with operational and support team members to execute daily maintenance work as scheduled by the planning team.
  • Develop and implement maintenance initiatives and processes to elevate MFI goals and production.
  • Responsible for plant maintenance, including facilities, utilities, and operations.
  • Lead department team members to ensure quality, delivery, and cost are continuously improved to achieve company objectives.
  • Engage and develop asset care teams to deliver expected levels of reliability.
  • Direct responsibility for the maintenance team and their performance.
  • Responsible for all maintenance department metrics.
  • Ability to balance maintenance initiatives that align with plant business strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or applicable technical knowledge.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations or maintenance.
  • Understanding of PLC and logic controls for high-speed operating equipment.
  • Prior experience in SAP preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and project scheduling skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and hold team members accountable.
