Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Sourcing Manager to join our team at The Rockridge Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for executing sourcing projects that drive business value and optimize total cost of ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute IT sourcing strategies that align with business objectives
  • Manage IT sourcing processes from start to finish, including market research, sourcing strategy, RFX/event development, negotiations, and stakeholder involvement
  • Build and maintain relationships with IT stakeholders, including Directors and VPs
  • Partner with the IT organization to drive relationship management and contribute to business reviews and QBRs
  • Lead planning and ideation sessions, and effectively influence stakeholders to bring new and innovative ideas
  • Collaborate with IT portfolio owners to drive establishment and execution of Renewals and Maintenance Program strategy
  • Conduct detailed market and IT vendor research to communicate findings through meaningful research summaries
  • Develop and manage IT sourcing project timelines, and lead cross-functional working sessions and leadership meetings to drive key decisions
  • Analyze vendor bid responses, and round to round movement to uncover insights that influence sourcing strategy
  • Facilitate the development of award scenarios and recommendations for stakeholder evaluation, consideration, and decision-making
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • MBA/JD/MS/ME preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years IT strategic sourcing experience, with multiple IT sourcing category experience required
  • Consulting experience preferred; experience in retail is a plus
  • Project and vendor management experience
  • Contract writing and management experience preferred
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Data analytical skills
  • Experience using e-sourcing tools for RFx processes, analysis, and/or optimization is a plus
  • Experience in working with raw material/market indices
