POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Administrative Assistant to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate pre-employment health assessments, routine examinations, and various medical screenings
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to arrange necessary health evaluations
- Maintain clear communication throughout the medical evaluation process
- Stay informed about the health status of candidates
- Identify facilities for health assessments and drug testing
- Act as a liaison for offsite health evaluations and drug tests
- Support the onboarding process by assisting with drug screening coordination
- Ensure proper completion of custody transfer forms
- Communicate with laboratories regarding medical documentation
- Relay important messages to the drug screening coordinator
- Assist with health monitoring programs
- Help employees fill out medical questionnaires and schedule testing appointments
- Work alongside the lead nurse and other medical personnel
- Manage schedules for pre-employment health assessments
- Complete medical questionnaires
- Organize testing appointments
- Track and schedule meetings, appointments, and calls
- Remind supervisors of upcoming meetings and appointments
- Draft correspondence and maintain confidential records
- Prepare medical notes and reports
- Utilize medical terminology effectively
- Provide a wide range of administrative support within the medical unit
- Perform various clerical and administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant and progressive experience in a similar role
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Preference for candidates with a Bachelor's degree
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position requires U.S. citizenship as it supports federal government operations
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- No travel is necessary for this role
WORK SCHEDULE
- 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour workday
EMPLOYMENT STATUS
- Eligible for W2 or 1099 classification
